Supplied in sturdy portable carrying case with full set of operating instructions. Suitable for copper, kunifer / Cupro Nickel, steel and aluminium tubing. High quality item, made in England. Designed for use in a vice on a bench to produce OE spec single DIN & double SAE flares. The Tool can either be mounted in a conventional bench – vice or on its own purpose built plate. (Please note this is not included). Brake tubing is held in split dies which are secured by an overhead locking screw mounted on a swing clamp. The mandrill is then positioned in its retainer and advanced into the flaring tool position by manual operation of the cam lever. Fast Cam Action with spring return. Pipe is clamped via a screw clamp that grips the pipe over a longer distance than lesser quality flaring tools.
